A 4S-15 AMP Battery Management System (BMS) is a hardware protection board used in 4-cell (4S) lithium battery packs — typically LiFePO₄ (LFP) or Li-ion (e.g., 18650 cells) — with a nominal voltage around 12.8 V (LFP) or 14.8 V (Li-ion). It safeguards your battery pack during charging and discharging, especially in medium-power applications.

Over-charge protection — prevents cells from exceeding safe voltage (~3.65 V per cell for LFP).

Over-discharge protection — cuts off before cells drain too low (~2.33–2.5 V per cell).

Over-current & short-circuit protection — protects cells and wiring under fault loads.

Temperature protection support (with NTC sensor) — protects against overheating on charge/discharge cycles.
